On Tour with The Rubens & Pink

It all started with a local show. In Camden, our hometown, The Rubens decided to launch their record, "LO LA RU" to adoring local fans and asked me to join them for a duet. It was an honour to be a part of and to watch them rock the house down at the Camden Civic Centre. The last time I'd been to that very venue, I was 12 and the quirky fairy in my school musical.

I sang what is now their Swan Song and certified Gold single, "Never Ever", trying to do it with as much raw passion as Sarah Aarons belts out on the record. What a magical song and it wasn't to be the last time I'd sing it...

Then onto Pink's Beautiful Trauma Tour. It's a full circle moment for me. Back in 2009, I played for VIP's coming to see Pink's 'Funhouse' tour. I was stoked with that opportunity, feeling like I was the support to the support for Pink. Who knew (see what I did there!) 10 years later, this position I'd find myself in.

Both Sydney and Brisbane crowds LIT IT UP for "Never Ever" every night, with phone torches aglow across every stadium. I get choked up and mesmerised every time.
